Skookum Kids bring fresh ideas and new energy to a broken system. Foster care has a bad reputation—sometimes deserved—but we see hope and change. We believe the world is full of people who want to help but don't know how, so we craft a suite of volunteer opportunities so that everyone can participate in this important work. These volunteer opportunities range from one-time events ideal for large groups to year-long commitments that enable a sustained relationship with a particular child.
